Positive Relationship Builder
  • Has positive relationship with students in the class and outside the classroom (at lunch and recess etc.)
    • Assumes a social responsibility for their students.
  • Works well in group situations and contributes positively to others.
  • Speak to others like they are of worth and build a relationship that is equal.
  • Inclusive of everyone.
  • Always willing to help.
  • There general attitude.
  • Genuine interest and care for their surrounding (people and the relationships).
  • Upholds their moral and ethical values throughout all their relationships.
Reflective and Committed Learner
  • Evaluating what they are doing, through asking. 
    • What?
    • Why?
    • For Whom? or Who is advantaged/disadvantaged?, that that they are questioning the moral and ethical implications of their practice. This third level of reflection is often known as ‘critical reflection
  • Finds ways to improve their self.
  • Seeks possible new opportunities for oneself and their career.
  • Know how to engage their student and if their teaching style is lacking will improve and learn to benefit their students in the long run.
  • Working with colleagues to improve classroom environment and teaching practices.
  • Sharing idea, providing feedback.
 
Shows Initiative
  • Know what to do and when to do it.
    • Prioritisation
  • Does not need to be asked.
  • Proactive.
  • Confident in their knowledge and what they are doing.
